About Us

A little about Jan-

I was raised in the small town of Ft. Bragg.  After graduating from high school… off to college I went.  After graduating from college, I returned home and began my career as a legal secretary. Throughout the years, my business career has been very diverse – chamber of commerce, bookkeeping, assisted Bill with the home dairy delivery business, retail at a furniture store, managed a children’s clothing store, chiropractic assistant/office manager, and dental front office coordinator. The growth and challenge in my varied positions was very rewarding, but mostly I loved the opportunity to interface and communicate with people – whether it was sharing my knowledge through patient education, answering questions or listening and lending support.  Communicating to others honestly, clearly, with integrity and knowledge is what I pride myself in…it is “who I am”.  A little about Bill-   A California native, born and raised in Ft. Bragg, CA, I am the second oldest of five boys.  Participating in football, basketball, and baseball was the highlight of my high school years, along with studying.  After serving in the U.S. Army, I attended college.  Through the years my employment included assistant traffic manager for Ca. Western Railroad, computer programmer, Finance Director of Ft. Bragg (also elected as City Clerk), Director of Parks & Recreation, and ownership of a dairy delivery business.  During the last two decades prior to retirement, I held accounting positions with city/county government and school districts. Sports have always been a large part of my life…whether it was coaching little league and soccer, volunteering with Lincoln High School track and football teams, or participating in basketball, softball, and tennis (even now on senior teams). When we moved to Lincoln Hills in 2002, I immediately became involved in community activities and sports and realized, because of the positive spirit and openness of residents, it was very easy to make new friends. How could I share this lifestyle* with other 55+ adults?  Joining Jan as a resident realtor has allowed me to introduce this amazing lifestyle to family, friends, and those I meet along the way.  The rewards experienced thus far (including achieving the 2007 and 2008,2009,2010,2011,2012,2013
(Masters Club award) have surpassed my expectations. *For more information about our community and about Lincoln Hills, please go to our Home Page. And now about Us- Spending quality time with our family (our Dad’s, siblings, a daughter and two sons, five grandchildren, two granddogs) is a priority.  Other spare time is devoted to travel and activities in our community – tennis, Pickleball,  softball, fitness centers, swimming, Jukebox Saturday Night, table tennis, pool, dining out, couples bunco, and casual get-togethers.  “Extended family”, to us, also includes non-relatives – those new friends, neighbors, and clients we’ve come to know since 2002 in Lincoln Hills.

We sincerely feel that “At the heart of every home are family and friends“.
